Professional third wheel.Hi! I’m Carmen! I've always been obsessed with storytelling.
At 12 years old, I was teaching myself HTML and CSS so I could build fan websites for my favorite boy bands. Looking back, it probably should've been my first clue that this was where I was headed!
Years later, I found myself immersed in the world of content creation, building a platform within the book community (bookstagram, IYKYK) and working with major publishing houses, brands, and campaigns! What started as a creative outlet eventually led to opportunities with companies like Netflix, Morphe, Amazon, and many others.
My career later took me behind the scenes as Creative Director for a New York Times bestselling author, where I traveled across the country, visiting movie sets, book tours, book festivals, and handled social media!
By the time I founded Socially Weddings in 2023, I had already spent years working in social media, content creation, and visual storytelling. But it wasn't until I was planning my own wedding that everything clicked…
I realized there was a huge gap in the industry. Couples deserved more than shaky guest videos buried in text messages. They deserved a way to relive their day while it was still fresh, emotional, and exactly as it happened!
So I took a leap, left the traditional path behind, and built Socially Weddings.
Today, Socially Weddings combines everything I've loved for as long as I can remember: storytelling, connection, creativity, and preserving the moments that become more meaningful with time!

Hi! My name is Kristen. I’m a pediatric nurse and have been involved in the wedding industry for the past 5 years. I have a passion for connecting with people and bringing a calm, comfortable presence to meaningful moments.
I love exploring new coffee shops, drinking matcha, traveling (especially to tropical destinations), and staying active outdoors!

Hi, I'm Mirsa! I’m a wedding photographer who genuinely believes that every detail of your day deserves to be remembered. So much love, time, and energy goes into planning one of the biggest days of your life, and I don't take it lightly being someone that helps preserve it. That passion for storytelling is what brought me to content creation, and I'm so excited to be part of this team.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me hosting dinner parties, planning our next adventure with my husband, and spending time with Atlas, our husky with a big personality and an iconic side-eye.

Hi, I'm Jenny! I was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. My professional background is rooted in science and research, but I've always had a passion for events, planning, and the details that bring everything together. I have always been drawn to the creative side of capturing life's biggest moments.
When I got married last year, I hired Carmen as my content creator. I realized how valuable it was to have someone focused on preserving the genuine reactions, candid moments, and little details that can easily be missed in the whirlwind of the day.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me planning my next trip, hosting friends and family, or finding a reason to celebrate life's special moments. I love exploring Kansas City, discovering new restaurants and local gems, and spending time with my husband and our pug, Gus. I'm also a big fan of crafts and DIY projects. I'm always working on something creative around the house.
My goal is to capture your day in a way that feels genuine, natural, and complete. From the big moments to the smallest details, I want you to be able to relive your day exactly as it happened.

I grew up in a super small town and after college decided to take a leap and try life in the big city, and it ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Since 2019, I’ve been a full-time Design Queen B (aka graphic designer), but over the years my love for storytelling and creating meaningful memories naturally led me into the wedding world.
There’s truly nothing sweeter than capturing moments that couples get to relive for years to come. From the big emotional moments to the little in-between memories, I love documenting it all in a way that feels genuine, joyful, and timeless.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me hopping on a plane for a new adventure, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, spending an “Aunt Day” with my nephews, or saying “yes” to a spontaneous trip somewhere fun. ✈️🤍
